Illustrate the Page
Select a page from the selection you are currently reading. The page needs to contain strong evidence of setting, characterization, and symbolism. You are to illustrate these concepts with the the textual evidence of the page in mind. You made use color if appropriate to the illustration of the page.
On the back of the back, explain the relationship between the setting, the character, and the symbol you chose. |
Other Assessment Materials
One of my favorite resources for tests in the various state assessment formats, AP, or SAT is Applied Practice. I use this assessments with other selections in my classroom with great success and find them challenging yet attainable for the students. I tend to use the AP formatted assessment as reading comprehension quizzes and the SAT formatted test as a summative assessment with my Pre-AP students. For academic students, I would suggest removing an answer choice from the previously mentioned materials then using the state formatted tests as the summative assessment for the selection.
